Inspector Gadget - More DiC on DVD: Online Retailer Shows Inspector Gadget Set From Shout!

This past June the fans of animated shows from DiC celebrated the announcement that they had partnered with Shout! Factory to create multi-DVD sets of the classic cartoon properties which DiC owns. Shout!, through their Sony BMG (a.k.a. "Sony Music") retail distribution channel partnership, quickly released Heathcliff & the Catillac Cats - Volume 1 and The Legend of Zelda - The Complete Series. Plans are moving forward for February release of C.O.P.S., and DVDPlanet.com shows a March release for The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! (although Shout! still hasn't announced the latter).

So what's next on Shout!'s list for the DiC cartoons? Yesterday DVDPlanet posted a new pre-order listing for Inspector Gadget: The Animated Series. The e-tailer provides an April 25th release date for a 4-DVD set. The pre-order price given is $24.47, which represents a 30% discount from the $34.95 SRP that is shown. No other information is listed just yet.
