This past Saturday we
had the report that James Lipton's Emmy-nominated talk show, Bravo's
Inside The Actors Studio, is coming to DVD. The first release is set for
October 31st, and is subtitled
Icons. The 3-DVD set is
up for pre-order at Amazon for $27.99 (discounted from the $39.98 SRP). What "iconic" stars will be on this release? According to multiple industry sources, you can look for Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Barbra Streisand, and Clint Eastwood. Wow, it doesn't get much more iconic than that!
But the folks at the Shout! Factory aren't stopping there. Just a week later, on
November 7th, they are releasing a separate single-disc release of
Inside the Actors Studio - Dave Chappelle. This item will be just $14.98 SRP, but
Amazon is pre-selling that for just $9.99. Nice, eh? Stay tuned for cover art, and any further details we can dig up.
