In mid-December, the 2011 DVD release of I'm Dickens, He's Fenster - Season 1, Volume 1 was officially announced. The title is still a work-in-progress, so there hasn't been a specific release date set so far, nor pricing or package art. However, things are still moving along in the 2+ months since that announcement, and the DVD producers at TV Time Machine Productions (and the folks at www.DickensAndFenster.com of course) have shared some information with us, so we can update all of you!

First of all, TV Time Machine Productions wants fans of I'm Dickens, He's Fenster to know that they are working hard on remastering these episodes, to provide a top-notch release that everyone will be happy to own. They're also pleased to announce that they have commissioned Tim Cutt and "It's a Secret Studios" authoring of these DVDs, including the creation and design of the menus for I'm Dickens, He's Fenster - Season 1, Volume 1. As a special treat, the studios have provided us with a first look at the main menu screen from this title, shown in motion as part of the video clip below.

Jim Benson of TV Time Machine Productions informs us that "It's a Secret Studios" is one of Hollywood's premier independent DVD studios, and has contributed to such DVD feature film titles as The Cooler, Cabin Fever and American Psycho. More of interest to fans of retro TV shows, they have also contributed to TV-DVD box sets from studios such as Shout! Factory, including DVD releases from programs such as Spin City, The Dick Cavett Show, Groucho Marx's You Bet Your Life, Here's Lucy, SCTV, The Electric Company, Punky Brewster and The Paper Chase, among many others. For fans who are wondering "what's taking so long?," the answer is: they are taking the time to do the best possible job, with the intent that every will be highly pleased with the results! Stay tuned, and we'll continue to update you as further developments occur.
