Mill Creek Entertainment has announced the
October 11th release of a DVD with 4 different made-for-TV movies from Stephen J. Cannell Productions. Two of them,
The Return of Hunter (starring Fred Dryer, Barry Bostwick, Miguel Ferrer, Wendie Malick) and
The Greatest American Heroine (starring William Katt, Robert Culp, Connie Sellecca, Mary Ellen Stuart), are reunion telefilms for very popular television programs that Cannell created.
Heroine has been previously available as part of larger sets, but this is the first time it's been available like this. If we recall correctly, this is the first time
The Return of Hunter will be released on DVD. Cost for this 2-disc set with 4 movies-of-the-week is a mere $9.98! Video is full frame, audio in English 2.0, and the running time for everything together is 319 minutes. Package art for this "Action Features: 4 Movies" set can be seen below. Our thanks to reader Peter Mitrunen for tipping us off.
