We reported waaaay back in July that Amazon.com was already taking advance orders for the newly-premiered
Hung - Season 1 on DVD ($39.98 SRP). However, there has been no availability date up until now for this title, since HBO Home Video hasn't formally announced the release yet. Now we've learned that the show, starring Thomas Jane (
The Punisher, 61*) and Anne Heche (
Men in Trees, Volcano), is coming to high-def Blu-ray Disc, too!
Amazon has just added
a Blu pre-order entry for Hung - Season 1, showing a list price of $49.99 SRP. Like the DVD set, it will be a 2-disc set running 315 minutes for 10 episodes. Package art isn't available yet for either version (just some temp art based on the network's promo campaign for the show), nor do we have details of the contents or specs. As for when these will be released, that will probably be timed to coincide with the second season debut this coming summer. Stay tuned, and we'll update you as soon as we can!
