Season 6

The Complete 1st Season

House - Season 6 Announced for DVD, and ALSO for a First-Ever Blu-ray Disc Release!

Look for your diagnosis at the end of August

Posted by David Lambert
Get ready for a full dose of medical mysteries with 21 episodes of the riveting drama series, House. Hugh Laurie is joined by James Earl Jones (Star Wars), Laura Prepon (That '70s Show) and David Strathairn (The Bourne Ultimatum) in guest appearances as he returns to his Golden Globe winning and Primetime Emmy Award-nominated role as Dr. Gregory House.

In this brilliant sixth season, House finds himself in an uncomfortable position - away from the examination room. As he works to regain his license and his life, his coworkers deal with the staff shakeups, moral dilemmas, and their own tricky relationships with House. And when House returns more obstinate than ever, Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital will never be the same again.
Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced this morning that House - Season 6 will arrive on home video August 31st. The 5-disc DVD set will cost $59.98 SRP, with episodes presented in anamorphic widescreen video. Audio will be in English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, with subtitles in English and Spanish. Extras, if any, haven't been revealed yet. Nor do we have package art.

On the same day, House will get its first-ever release in the high-def Blu-ray Disc format! Season 6 will arrive on 5 BD's, with video in 1080p widescreen video, and audio in English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 sound. Subtitles in English and Spanish are also present on this version. Cost is $74.98 SRP. Extras and package art aren't available yet for the Blu-ray format release yet, either, but stay tuned and we'll update you just as soon as we can!
