In November 2006, A&E Home Video released
Homicide: Life on the Street - The Complete Series in a collectible "file cabinet" package,
with actual pull-out drawers that housed the DVDs inside. Less than a year had passed, however, before we sadly
reported that the release had been discontinued.
Now, A&E is coming back out with a repackaged release of
Homicide: Life on the Street - The Complete Series on DVD. Available starting on
September 29th, this 35-disc package will come in a more standard package, but retain a picture of the front of a file cabinet as the design of the front of its box (see below). Cost is $149.95 SRP, but you can pre-order from Amazon at the button link below. All the content will be the same; in the studio's words, this "
includes all 122 episodes spanning seven critically acclaimed seasons, the three Law & Order crossover episodes, and Homicide: The Movie."
