We've had a pair of news posts for the 2nd Season of
Home Movies (
one on 12/16 and, a few days later,
one on 12/19). On both of these, we mentioned the street date which The Shout! Factory gave us for this release: May 10th.
Now
DVDPlanet.com and several other online e-tailers who already have this release up for pre-order are instead showing it will ship on
May 31st, a three-week delay over the date we had previously.
DVDPlanet also shows this as being a 3-DVD set that lists for $34.95, but they discount it down to just $24.47 if you order in advance.
Neither Shout! nor distributor Sony Music have information posted that verifies the aforementioned change yet, but since a multitude of unrelated resellers are all showing that particular date, it's very likely to be accurate. Stay tuned, though, and we'll keep you updated on the street date as official information comes in detailing the release.
