Yesterday we
showed off the package art found at Amazon for Shout! Factory's
November 4th DVD release of
Home Movies - 10th Anniversary. In that version of the art, we saw the word "Megaset" tacked on the end of the title, and - as we mentioned - we had informed our friends at Shout! that the word "megaset" was claimed as a registered trademark of A&E/New Video. Apparently the artwork in question, shown at Amazon, wasn't correct or current, and a new version of the package art has since been uploaded to Amazon.
Notably the word "megaset" is no longer there, but also there are other slight tweaks to the graphics: the words "
Home Movies" have been enlarged, there are more clapboard marks along the top edge, the characters on the bottom edge have been scooted down a tad (making it look more like they're "peeking over the edge"), and the film strips on the side and top are a bit different. We have a look at the new picture for you at the bottom.
We've also learned that there will be pack-in items that are exclusive to this set. Besides all 4 seasons (52 episodes) of the series, this collectible package includes "
a branded director’s clapboard and canvas tote bag, both available nowhere else". Fans ought to appreciate these goodies!
