A few weeks ago we
updated you about the upcoming "10th Anniversary" DVD set for
Home Movies, which collects the complete series into one package that Shout! Factory is releasing on
November 4th. We're still waiting on the studio's official announcement on this release; so far our main source of info has been the pre-order listing at Amazon.com (see the button link below).
Now Amazon's listing has been updated to include package art, and we've got a look at that for you at the bottom. If you notice, it now shows the official title of the release as the "
Home Movies - 10th Anniversary Megaset". We're frankly not certain if that is going to hold, however. As we've passed along to our friends at Shout!, we have been informed in the past by our contacts at A&E that the term "megaset" is trademarked by A&E/New Video. So while we feel a bit awkward about bringing it up, given that we don't want to get anybody upset at either studio, we just want to point out the situation to
Home Movie fans, in case this DVD package art does end up changing due to this factor.
