Amazon.com has the
pre-order listing up now for
Home Improvement - The Complete 4th Season on DVD. Instead of the 6/13 release date that Disney/Buena Vista
reported to their stockholders, Amazon is showing a
June 6th release date instead (why not...something like two dozen other TV-DVDs are coming out on that very same day; I've applied for a second mortgage on my house to afford everything!). The cost is shown as $39.99 SRP, but you can get it for $27.99 if you pre-order from Amazon now.
The cover art is also there, and we've got a look at it below. We'll remind you, as we pointed out with other recent Amazon-based art for Buena Vista titles such as
Golden Girls - The Complete 5th Season, the studio is making available to retailers two forms of box art to choose to display: one that represents the actual box art that you'll buy at the store, and another one where the wording on the box is in a plainer, larger font to be more readable...especially if used in a small print ad, like a weekly circular. As you can see below, Amazon is using the "large print font" box art choice for now. So expect the on-the-shelf product to have the same key art, but with the wording toned down a tad. I guess they gave that font "more power"!
