We didn't want to break this news until we had more powered-up details, but tonight Wilson leaned over the fence and told us that certain retailers are starting to list this title, even though all they know is a date and a price. So we're revving up the info-engine, and chugging out what little we've got that's rock-solid:
Last May there was
a report from a Disney-themed fan site, UltimateDisney.com, that said
Home Improvement - Season 1 would arrive on DVD this November 30th.
Now we been informed that the release date is actually
November 23rd (before the post-Thanksgiving "Black Friday" sales rush), and that the list price of this set will be $49.99. And we're not Toolin' Around!

This morning we woke up to find a press release had arrived overnight, dated yesterday, which had new details about this box set!
Home Improvement - Season 1 will be in the orginal 1.33:1 aspect ratio, with English 2.0 Dolby Digital soundtrack. The street date and price above were mentioned, plus this description of the set and its extras:
