Back in mid-August, CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment
announced the upcoming release of the
Hogan's Heroes - Kommandant's Kollection: The Komplete Series 28-DVD set. At the time the planned release date was November 10th, but yesterday the studios informed retailers that the schedule was pushed back just a bit.
The new street date is
November 24th, the Tuesday just before Thanksgiving. CBS/Paramount also wanted to make it clear that "28" is indeed the proper disc count for this set (some listings said "27, which is incorrect), and described the packaging (shown below) as "6 digi(pak)s in a slipcase, with a clear O-sleeve." Special features mentioned for this set, per Amazon, are as follows:
