Earlier today we posted
news about a date correction for one of Fox's January TV-on-DVD slate:
Mary Tyler Moore Show - Season 3. We have a similar note about
Hill Street Blues, unfortunately, but this time there wasn't confusion about which date to use. Apparently the studio is delaying the title one week from the original announcement.
In that
announcement, posted a week and a half ago, we passed on Fox Home Entertainment's official street date for
Hill Street Blues - The Complete 1st Season: January 24th. Now the studio has changed that date to
January 31st, for reasons that were not divulged. It's only a week, though, and it shouldn't cause too much hearburn for fans who have waited this long for this great show to come to DVD.
That announcement we previously posted contains all the details about the content and extras and so forth, and nothing has changed in regard to that. We're still waiting on the box art for this item, so stay tuned and we'll bring it to you just as soon as we can!
