Hill Street Blues - Update and Package Art for Shout! Factory's 'Complete Series' Set


34-DVD collection of all 7 seasons will be in stores late this March

We told you it could be coming, and it IS! Shout! Factory has indeed scheduled a March 25th street date for Hill Street Blues - The Complete Series. The 34-DVD set with all 7 seasons will cost just $199.99 SRP.

In 2006 Fox put out the first two seasons, but even if you own them already this is a heck of a deal: Amazon's pre-order listing (see button link below) discounts the item to $179.99 as of this writing (Amazon might change it without notice), which means you pay less than $5.30 per disc! It's hard to complain about that, especially for such a great show. And you can always find a new home for any season sets you already own (that's my plan).

However, if you can't afford to do that, we're reasonably sure that Shout! will put out the separate season sets on down the road. In the meantime, we'll be very glad to have this excellent piece of TV history to enjoy all at once! Here's the packaging:
