It's been almost two months now since we
reported that
Heroes - Season 3, in a DVD version, was listed at Amazon.com
for early pre-orders. However, there was no street date available yet, because Universal Studios Home Entertainment hadn't actually scheduled the title.
That's been remedied, though, with today's announcement to retailers that
Heroes - Season 3 will be shipping on
September 1st, releasing day-and-date on both DVD and high-def Blu-ray Disc. You'll get both the "Volume 3: Villains" and "Volume 4: Fugitives" storylines that include new cast members Brea Grant ("Daphne") and Željko Ivanek ("Danko").
Packaging pictures haven't been made available yet, but stay tuned and we'll bring those to you just as soon as we can [UPDATE: We've just posted package art for both the DVD and Blu-ray boxes]. In the meantime, here's the breakdown of available information for the DVD version, then the Blu-ray Disc version:
