This morning we've
let you know that the Legenday Heroes website, the official online store for Davis-Panzer Productions, is taking pre-orders for a high-definition Blu-ray Disc release of
Highlander: The Series - Season 1. As we reported there, the studio told us that they plan to eventually release ever season of the show on Blu-ray Disc.
What the studio also informed us about, though, is that Davis-Panzer's other programs will be released on Blu-ray Disc as well. That includes
Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, starring Kevin Sorbo in the classic fantasy role. Our thanks to the folks at Legendary Heroes for the heads-up about their plans (which are, of course, still subject to change). Like
Highlander, they don't currently plan to make it available in stores; only on-line, and possibly in limited quantities. No word yet on when they'll begin taking pre-orders for that, but stay tuned and we'll keep you posted when they do!
