Last week
we let you know that Gordon Ramsay's
Hell's Kitchen - Season 1 is coming to DVD on
April 8th. Since then we've gotten new info from VEI about this release, and they verify that it is now a 3-DVD set (we were told "5" at first, back at Thanksgiving) with every episode from the series' inaugural season on the Fox Network. That's all 9 episodes, plus the one-and-a-half hour season finale.
But you won't get these "as aired on Fox", no sir. Instead, VEI is giving you
Hell's Kitchen - Season 1: Raw & Uncensored, with all of Ramsay's infamous obscenities and curse words as originally uttered; nothing is bleeped out. It certainly will add spice to the main course, eh?
For dessert, VEI is adding extras that include a specially produced bonus segment that runs over an hour, featuring interviews with the
series' directors and producers. There will also be a tour of the set, plus a one-on-one interview with host Gordon Ramsay.
