From February to August of last year (2008), BCI Eclipse released three volumes that contained all episodes of the 2002 Mike Young Productions/Mattel version of
He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. By the end of the year, however, parent company Navarre had
shut down BCI, and these titles went out of circulation.
Now Mill Creek Entertainment has picked up the license to this property (and other properties formerly held by BCI). Mill Creek will release two titles on
September 29th: one is
The Complete Series on 4 discs (960 minutes), for just $24.98! If that's more than you want, though, then the other title is a single-disc affair simply titled
Origins, costing only $14.98 for 240 minutes (the exact number of episodes hasn't been specified yet). Stay tuned for cover art!
