Melrose Place) star in the current-running CBS TV series
Harper's Island, a mystery/thriller show planned to run for a single 13-episode season, and which reveals all the answers in the final installment. As the network runs up to the mid-July conclusion of the program, CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment are planning a home video release just a couple of months later!
A horror-inspired drama, this CBS series is about a group of friends and family who meet to celebrate a wedding on an island just outside Seattle, an island that is famous for a streak of unsolved murders seven years ago. Suspense ensues when they end up dead one by one! Has the killer returned, or is someone else to blame?
Look for the suspense to arrive home on DVD this
September 8th. Video will be presented in anamoprhic widescreen, and audio is in English 5.1 Dolby. It will also be closed captioned for the hearing impaired. There's no word yet on bonus material, if any, so we're not yet sure whether the companion web-based series
Harper's Globe (starring Melanie Merkosky of
lonelygirl15) would be included on this set. Hopefully it will. Stay tuned for info about that, if it happens, plus cost and cover art, just as soon as we find out more!
