Last Friday we
reported about an upcoming DVD release of
The Hardy Boys - Season 3, the final episodes of
The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries program that ran in the late '70s. In that story we had a link to
an Amazon pre-order listing, showing that title and its
February 12th release date, and a mis-input price of $243.97 SRP (obviously a typo!).
Now that listing at Amazon has changed, for a VERY DIFFERENT release from Shout! Factory, happening on the same date. That link, which still shows the way-too-high price and the 2/12/13 availability date, is now for the title
Slugterra - Return Of The Shane Gang...a new cartoon on the DisneyXD channel. We're reporting about that
elsewhere. What fans of
The Hardy Boys - Season 3 want to know is that
Amazon has added a different listing for that title, still showing the 2/12/13 date, and with a corrected price! So don't use that "now-
Slugterra" entry to pre-order
Hardy Boys, okay?
The cost now showing is $24.97 SRP, and Amazon is currently discounting it to $17.48 as of this writing. So go ahead and place your pre-orders now; it should be safe to do so! Shout! Factory still hasn't formally announced the title, so we don't have package art or details just yet. Stay tuned!!
