BCI and Mondo Media have announced the
August 7th release of
Happy Tree Friends - Volume 3 on DVD:
The wild animated series, which started as a quick clip internet craze, has now become a full-length TV series. Not meant for little kids, these perversely twisted cartoons would make the characters from South Park squirm. Bigger, badder and bloodier than ever, the fuzzy friends are back with nine twisted episodes and special features (including commentary and storyboards) that are appearing for the first time on DVD!
The timing of the release seems to be close to the debut of Sega's upcoming "Happy Tree Friends: False Alarm" video game, due in the Fall for the X-Box 360 and for PCs (
