Two and a Half Men - 4th Season DVD Officially Announced Now: Date, Specs, Extras & More!

The Emmy-winning Season Four of TV's #1 comedy starts with a shock (Alan's getting divorced...again) and ends with a rock (the diamond Evelyn's new boyfriend wants to put on her third finger, left hand). In between, Charlie Harper's hip Malibu beach pad is the place for laughs, gorgeous girls, single parenthood, celebrity neighbors, family and more laughs.

Charlie (Charlie Sheen) has a close encounter with his long-deceased dad. Alan (Jon Cryer), after a few resume embellishments, tries online dating. Jake (Angus T. Jones) swaps his Harry Potter posters for the joys of hottie wall art. Join the fun. Share the good life with everyone's favorite men, men, men, men, manly men, men men.

Two weeks ago today we let you know that Amazon.com was taking early pre-orders (see link below) for Two and Half Men - The Complete 4th Season on DVD. They did have a look at the cover art, and pricing ($44.98 SRP, currently discounted to $28.99 if you order now), but they didn't have a release date at the time!

That was because Warner Home Video hadn't formally announced the release yet, but this morning they took care of that little detail. The street date is now set for September 23rd, for a 4-disc set which should have all 24 episodes from the next-to-most recently aired season (2006-07). Guest stars during that time include Ryan Stiles (Drew Carey Show), Brooke Shields (Suddenly Susan, Lipstick Jungle), Allison Janney (The West Wing), Morgan Fairchild (Flamingo Road, Falcon Crest), Mike Connors (Mannix) and Robert Wagner (Hart to Hart, Switch).

Bonus material found on this set will include:
