This run of 24 episodes earned several Emmy Award nominations, including "Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series" for Charlie Sheen, "Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series" for Jon Cryer and "Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series" for Martin Sheen.
