Update: Warner Bros has told us the release date given below for the second season set is incorrect, and the correct date will be announced within the next month.
Tomorrow sees the long-awaited DVD release of the first season of Two and a Half Men, and fans could not be happier! Well, they would be happier if they knew when to expect the second season on DVD. Hey, they'd be ecstatic to know that the third season was being planned, too. After all, the highly popular show starring Charlie Sheen and Jon Cryer is gearing up to broadcast it's fifth season, right?
Warner Home Video didn't mean to, but over the weekend they let the beans spill that will take Two and a Half Men fans all the way to "ecstatic" level. We can verify that reports on other parts of the 'net are true: a 4-DVD set of The Complete 2nd Season is close to being formally announced, with a December 4th street date. Besides 24 second-year episodes, there will also be a pair of featurettes: "A Day in the Life of Two and a Half Men," and "The Serious Business of Writing Comedy."
That brings us to "happy," with Season 2 on the way...and in time for Christmas! What about "ecstatic"? Well, we can also confirm that the 3rd Season is being planned for DVD release. We don't have any details yet, since it obviously won't make it out until sometime in 2008. But, as other sites have shown on the web, Warner has let slip an early concept picture of the disc case art for the Disc 1 on the 3rd Season set for Men. It's not much, but it's a good sign, and we've decided to share that with all of our readers.
