This morning, CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced an upcoming DVD release with James Arness and Amanda Blake in the legendary TV western series Gunsmoke - The 3rd Season, Volume 1. This package will be available on December 9th, with episodes that return series regular Dennis Weaver (McCloud) and also feature guest shots by Barbara Eden (I Dream of Jeannie), Robert Vaughn (The Man From U.N.C.L.E.), Pernell Roberts (Bonanza, Trapper John M.D.), Jack Lord (Hawaii Five-O) , legendary TV character actor William Schallert, Morey Amsterdam (The Dick Van Dyke Show and Jack Klugman (The Odd Couple, Quincy). Video will be as originally shown in full scree, with audio in English mono. Running time is approx. 500 minutes.
