Now, if you compare the list of included episodes to the
TV.com episode guide for
Grounded For Life, you'll see that the producers of this DVD have done something very tricky. This series produced 20 episodes for the first season, but only aired 15 of them during that first season, and aired them wildly out of order from production. When the second season started to broadcast, they aired the remaining 5 "season one" episodes, but again aired them in no particular order (episode production #120 was followed by #117, followed by second-production-season episode #204, then #119, etc.).
So what the DVD producers seem to have decided on is the plan of including all 20 "first production season" episodes, but using airdate order for them instead of production order. The result will be that the second season, when it hits DVD, will have 17 episodes instead of the 22 "second broadcast season" episodes that you would recall from the Fox Network broadcasts.
We're still waiting on cover art and other information for this release, so stay tuned and we'll let you know when we have it.
