We've received a number of emails from people confused by an email they received from Amazon.com regarding their preorder of Grosse Pointe. The set was originally supposed to ship from Amazon.com on November 7th, but people have been told their preorders have been canceled, and the set would now be available in January.
We called Sony and asked them what's going on, and they have no clue. They're trying to get in touch with Amazon and sort things out, but we were told that Amazon has taken delivery of the sets, so Sony doesn't understand why they're now telling people the set is delayed.
We'll post more news if/when we hear anything worthwhile.
