The Greatest American Hero coming to DVD, the timeframe mentioned by distributor Anchor Bay was "later this year or early next year". They've revised that a bit to show "mid-2005", but you will see from the quote below that the extra time will by you more special features:
The short-lived but seemingly immortally popular superhero show that continues to be one of the most popular action/comedy series of the past few decades. This release will be laden with special features and plans are to include all-new interviews, etc. Expect the first season of the show in mid 2005. Produced by Stephen J. Cannell.
