We enjoy bringing you scoops, and nothing's better than a "holiday scoop", especially when you're pretty darn sure of your info. We've gotten MULTIPLE heads-up notes from industry contacts, none of whom know the other (at least as far as we know...one of them's in Canada), all passing us essentially the same info about the long awaited final season set of Will & Grace!
Our friends-on-the-inside all tell us that we can expect Will & Grace - Season 8 to come home on September 2nd. Note that two of our sources caution us that this release date is not set in stone, and could be highly subject to change. But right now, that is apparently the plans at Lionsgate Entertainment.
The release will have a full frame video aspect ratio, with audio in English - Dolby Digital 5.1 and subtitles in English and Spanish. It will also be closed captioned for the hearing impaired. Cost, cover art and extras (if any) have not been finalized.
Some of our sources on this also tell us to expect Will & Grace - The Complete Series to arrive on DVD, the same day as the 8th Season set.
Our heartfelt thanks to our friends "in the know," who always choose to help us and the loyal fans of these shows by sharing inside info, often at personal risk to their relationships with the studios...and sometimes even at risk to their jobs!
