Yesterday we
reported that Amazon.com has added an availability date for
Gossip Girl - The Complete 5th Season on DVD. This morning, however, we see that Warner Home Video has formally announced the title, and in doing so has indicated that Amazon input the wrong date into their system: August 21st isn't the street date, it's the "order due" date (i.e., the date retailers have to get their first orders placed with the studio in order to have their requested initial stock quantity in time for the street date). The actual day this title will be in stores is
September 25th; we regret passing along bad information.
In addition to the episodes you'll get Unaired Scenes, a Gag Reel, a 15-minute Featurette titles "5 Years of Iconic Style," and another Featurette titled "
