Within the past couple of weeks, and thanks to
Amazon's pre-order listing, we were able to
bring you news that
Goof Troop - Volume 1 is coming to DVD in February. Originally stated by the retailer as being a Valentine's Day release, Disney has pushed the street date back a week to February 21st. The running time has been announced at 85 minutes, which means that there is probably 4 episodes included on this single-disc $14.99 SRP release. Video is full screen, and audio is Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Sound in both English and French. Here is the description of

**UPDATE** 12/3:
Disney's press release the other day for this item *had* said that 2/21 was the new street date for the DVD, but yesterday they issued a correction: the mistake was on the press release, rather than on the dates shown at online re-tailers.
FEBRUARY 14th, Valentine's Day, is indeed the correct street date for
Goof Troop - Volume 1. They, and we, regret the confusion!
