Back in mid-November we had the
heads-up that
The Golden Girls - The Complete 2nd Season would arrive sometime in Spring 2005. The word came from an advertisement inserted into the set for
The Golden Girls - The Complete 1st Season, as well as also-released-on-the-same-day sets for
Home Improvement and
Boy Meets World. The same ad insert said that the next sets of
HI and
BMW would also make it out in the Spring.
At the beginning of this week, we
noted that Amazon.com had listed a pre-order release for the first season of
Scrubs, and at the same time we saw they had listed
The Golden Girls - The Complete 2nd Season for May 17th...but we hoped to post more info for such a super-popular title than just the release date, so we held off until we could contact the studio offices (which were closed for the MLK holiday).
Since then, we've talked with Buena Vista Home Entertainment, who agrees with that release date. However, a full press release isn't available just yet; it will be made available in the near future and will contain all the details (also one for
Scrubs). Note, though, that we're told that the next releases of
Home Improvement and
Boy Meets World will NOT make it out on that date: just
Golden Girls and
Scrubs, it seems. BV tells us that
HI "is later" and
BMW "is unknown at the moment."
