A month ago Fox Home Entertainment passed out the
press release for
The Girls Next Door - Season 4 on DVD, and it gave us a January 27th release date for the 3-disc set. Late this past Friday, though, we couldn't help but notice that the title had been removed from Fox's official January schedule at their password-protected press site, and didn't show up on the February 2009 schedule either (which is the latest month that the studio has posted yet). What's going on?
Well, before we have had time to contact the studio and ask about it during the new (and short) work week this morning, we've already gotten our answer! The release listing at Amazon.com (see button link below) shows that the title has been rescheduled to come out on
March 10th. No reason for the change is apparent, but longtime readers know that these sort of schedule adjustments happen all the time in the home video industry. All indications are that the content and pricing will remain unchanged, but if we find out otherwise then we'll certainly update you about it.
