Following up on February's release of the
third season set, this morning Paramount Home Entertainment announced the
July 29th DVD debut of
Girlfriends - The 4th Season...good news for fans who are still staggering from the
show's cancellation in the middle of season eight, a victim of the writer's strike.
There will be 24 episodes on the 4th Season set that include hilarious guest stars such as Sandra Bernhard (
Roseanne), Dawnn Lewis (
A Different World), Anne-Marie Johnson (
What's Happening Now!, In the Heat of the Night) CCH Pounder (
ER, The Shield), Julie Hagerty (
Airplane!), Traci Bingham (
Baywatch), Cindy Williams (
Laverne & Shirley) and Demond Wilson (
Sanford & Son). No other details are available so far, nor is box art, but stay tuned and we'll update you as more info becomes available to us!
