As you can see from the above screen capture from Twitter, The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. star Stefanie Powers ("April Dancer") tweeted yesterday that this show is coming to DVD at last, thank to the folks at the Warner Archive Collection. That's the entire run of the program, which lasted for a single season of 29 hour-long episodes. And while the DVDs aren't up for pre-order yet (expect that to happen on Monday), our contacts at the studio have indeed confirmed that they expect to begin selling The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. - The Complete Series, Part 1 and The Girl from U.N.C.L.E. - The Complete Series, Part 2, both separately and as a bundle-pack, this coming Tuesday August 23rd.
They will be manufacture-on-demand (MOD) releases sold exclusively from the studio's online store (WBshop.com) at first, and will only ship to USA addresses. Later on they are expected to also be available from Amazon's CreateSpace MOD program, where customers in other countries will be able to import them. Pricing isn't available yet, since the studio hasn't put these up for sale so far (but we've provided a button link, just below, which ought to take you to the right place once the listings go live...THEY ARE NOT THERE YET!). However, the studio was kind enough to send us the package art for both titles. Check 'em out:
UPDATE (8/20): These are now up for pre-order at the WBshop, and as expected the button link below will take you to those listings. The individual half-season sets are $39.95 each, but you can buy both as a bundle for $59.95 (saving twenty dollars). It's also worth mentioning to U.N.C.L.E. fans that there's also a separate pre-order for Tuesday's release of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. - 8 Movies Collection, with 8 theatrical films mostly shown overseas (but each one just consisting of an expanded combination of 2 television episodes).
