That Girl - Single-Disc Release Being Readied For The Marlo Thomas Classic Sitcom

First 4 Episodes, Plus The Original Pilot & Other Extras

3 of the show's 5 seasons are available on DVD, but Shout! Factory isn't ready to bring new episodes of the Marlo Thomas classic sitcom to fans just yet. Instead, they're trying to attract new fans with a smaller, sampler-sized DVD release that heads to stores in a few months. This single disc carries the first 4 episodes of the show. In addition, the original pilot episode is included on this disc plus a featurette called "That Show...That Woman...The Creation Of That Girl with Marlo Thomas," rare promos and a Commentaries with Marlo Thomas and Bill Persky.

In other words, this is the first disc (with all the bonus material on it) straight from That Girl - Season 1 4-DVD collection, just sold separately. Naturally the name is That Girl - Season 1, Volume 1, and you can pick it up on May 6th. Cost is expected to be around $15 list price, give or take. Cover art isn't available yet, but will probably be a variation of the picture used for the full season set.
