VEI, the company that is bringing DVD-lovers the
first two seasons of
Kate & Allie, has plans to release
Gimme a Break! season 1 in Canada on
May 30. Universal has previously released the set in the US, but they didn't have Canadian rights.
The set will include all 19 season 1 episodes, as well as "Nell Goes To Jail," a bonus episode from season 2, and "Allie’s First Date," the pilot episode of
Kate & Allie. The set sells for $34.95 CAN, but
Amazon.ca has it discounted to $24.47.
