Following up on last month's
Volume 1 release, E1 Entertainment (formerly Koch Vision) is preparing a
September 15th DVD release of
Gigantor - The Collection, Volume 2. This 4-disc set running 650 minutes contains the remaining 26 episodes of the show's run, all restored (as with the previous set) and presented in air-date order.
This collection also includes Bonus Material, such as Commentary on selected episodes by the Director/Producer/Writer, a Featurette that is a Portrait of Creator Mitsuteru Yokoyama, a Publicity Photo Gallery, a DVD-ROM collection of
Gigantor Comic Book issues 7-12, and a Collectible Booklet. Cost is $39.98 SRP. Here's a look at the front of the package:
