Ghostwriter, a television series co-produced by the Children's Television Workshop (now known as Sesame Workshop) and the BBC, features a group of New York City teenagers who solve mysteries with the help of an invisible ghost, who can communicate with the kids only by manipulating whatever text and letters he can find, and using them to form words and sentences.
Shout! Factory's acquisitions team has been working overtime, it seems: they have scored another classic title for their DVD library in the form of
Ghostwriter - Season 1. The studio hasn't formally announced the title yet, but we found out about it thanks to an
Amazon pre-order listing that went up late yesterday. According to that entry, this will be a 5-disc set running 870 minutes long, at a cost of $34.95 SRP (but you can lock in your copy at a discount, of course). The release date is
June 8th. Package art and other details aren't available yet, but stay tuned and we'll keep you posted!
