Back in mid-November we
reported that Image Entertainment had announced a February 17th release date for the Sci Fi Channel's
Ghost Hunters International - The Complete 1st Season on DVD. Now one of our readers, Joe Brackett (thanks for the note!), has alerted us that Amazon's showing a new, delayed release date of
May 19th (see button link below).
That's accurate, but when we checked with Image themselves we find that they aren't currently showing that date. Instead they apparently have it marked as "postponed," and their entry for the title has a made-up release date of "12/12/12" (which translates to Wed., Dec. 12, 2012, if you want to take it literally) as a placeholder date. So is the May date correct? We're going to assume that Amazon got that date from someone in-the-know at Image, and therefore we're going to go with it until we hear otherwise. Stay tuned and we'll let you know if we find out anything different!
