news a month ago about S'more Entertainment's September DVD plans for
The Get-Along Gang - The Complete Series. Now it appears that the company with the final say in the matter, greet card company American Greetings, has declined to give their approval for undisclosed reasons. Here is the announcement from S'more on the matter:
I am sad to announce that it appears that American Greetings has denied DiC and S’more Entertainment the right to release “The Get Along Gang” on DVD. While valid contracts are in place, American Greetings did retain the right to approve whether or not the program should be made available and they chose to not have the series released into the marketplace at this time.
We’re still on schedule for our release of “The Littles” in October and we will have a significant acquisition to announce in the next 30 days.
