reported a couple of weeks ago that an Amazon pre-order listing (see button link below) revealed that
The Gene Autry Show - The Complete 3rd & 4th Seasons would be coming to DVD on
April 10th. The 4-disc set from Timeless Media Group (TMG) isn't officially announced yet, but we were happy to get an email from Karla Buhlman, President of Gene Autry Entertainment (who's releasing this in conjunction with TMG) pointing us toward the details at their
Autry.com website.
They confirmed that this will be 13 episodes from the third season and 13 episodes from the fourth season, all in the original black-and-white video but fully restored (as prominently mentioned on the box art cover, shown below). Bonus Material will consist of a
Gene Autry Melody Ranch Radio Show from London, England on August 9, 1953; a Photo Gallery from a1953 British Tour; and Gene Autry Film Trailers from 1953. The set will be closed captioned. Our thanks to Karla for the heads-up; you can read more about this of course at Autry.com!
