This past April saw BBC Video's release of
Top Gear - The Complete Season 10 on DVD in North America. Want more? You got it! The folks at BBC America are saying
at their blog that the 11th Season and the 12th Season will both be getting DVD releases on this side of the Atlantic. What's more, the report says that we'll get the extended U.K. versions of the episodes (58 mins each) on those sets, rather than the edited USA cuts.
While the 11th Season release will otherwise be a bare-bones, episodes-only set, the 12th Season collection is planned to include bonus material: "
commentary on the Vietnam special, deleted scenes, a director's cut of the Botswana special with commentary and more deleted scenes." No pricing, package art or specific release dates are provided so far, but the blog entry say that we should look for these both to arrive early in 2010. Stay tuned for updates!
