Last month at this time, our friends at Shout! Factory issued
a press release for their upcoming
October 20th DVD release of
It's Garry Shandling's Show - The Complete Series. Unfortunately, the document was a bit thin on details concerning the bonus material on this release, saying only that "
Garry Shandling and Shout! Factory are currently developing a wide range of in-depth bonus content, including extensive featurettes, commentaries, outtakes and much more!"
Now, however, information posted to Shout!'s consumer website has a few more details about the extras included on this 16-disc collection! It looks like every 4th disc will have some supplements on it, in addition to the 72 episodes that make up the run of the show. Below is the list of what bonus content found on which DVD, but keep in mind that this may not be final and that it doesn't take into account such episode-oriented extras as Audio Commentary Tracks and Outtakes, or non-disc content such as the enclosed 40-page book. Still, this list is a terrific place to start!
