It's been a LONG time since we've heard anything about
Gargoyles DVDs...
the last update was in April 2003! But now we finally have something new in the way of this.
The other day at the
"Ask Greg" column of the Station 8 Gargoyles Fan Site,
Gargoyles Creator/Producer Greg Weisman posted a response to a question by a fan. "Tribe," as the fan calls him- (or her-) self, was asking
"when will the entire gargoyles series (season 1,2&3) finally be available to purchase on DVD?" Weisman responds:
Season One is supposed to be released sometime in the fourth quarter of 2004. My guess is that other seasons will ONLY get a release if the sales on Season One merit that release.
So, there you have it. Look for
Gargoyles - Season 1 on DVD in time for the Holiday, 2004 shopping season. Naturally Disney would want to know that interest is there before they begin producing future releases, so it's a good idea to start spreading the word now.
