CBS/Paramount has updated the package art for the next DVD release, and it changes the name of
The Game...sort-of. Earlier this week the studio
announced the third season set, providing package art that called this release "the final season." We predicted at the time, though, that the box cover would get revised, due to rumors in the press that BET would pick up the show and produce new episodes for a fourth season of the series. Today CBS/Paramount delivered updated pictures of the packaging, and it now shows the title as "
The Game - The 3rd Season." Does this mean the show's going to get picked up?
One BET post on Twitter sure is hinting at it! It's a sure bet the fans will be watching for that announcement, right? Here's the revised box:
