This morning we brought you Universal's
official announcement of the DVD release for
Galactica 1980 - The Complete Series. These 10 episodes from the first spin-off of the original show, starring previous cast members Lorne Greene as "Commander Adama" and Herb Jefferson Jr. now promoted to second-in-command "Colonel Boomer". Other stars include Kent McCord as "Captain Troy", Barry Van Dyke as "Lt. Dillon", and Robyn Douglass as Earth-bound TV reporter "Jamie Hamilton".
A little while ago Universal also released the box art for this 2-disc set, and it's marketing the release as "The Original
Battlestar Galactica's Final Season". Well, we suppose you could look at it that way. Sort-of. Maybe. It's really twisting TV history, though!
