In early April we
first informed you about the "two street dates" mentioned for
G.I. Joe - Season 1, Part 2. Both June 8th and June 29th had come up as possible, believable street dates for this package.
Circumstances at the time led us to the *opinion* that the 8th was the correct date, and that was reinforced later, as we explained when we posted
this news story a few days ago showing off the release's cover art.
All along the way we've emphasized that we weren't going to absolutely trust either date until we heard it from Rhino themselves, and late yesterday the word finally came down:
G.I. JOE - SEASON 1, PART 2 RELEASES ON JUNE 29TH!
That's directly from the horse's mouth, and leaves no doubt this time. They had nothing else to say at this time other than the fact that it's a 4-DVD set, and that the cover art (repeated below) is accurate. Stay tuned, and we'll have more for you when they've firmed up the final details.
