Following up on the mid-July retail release of
Season 1.1 (the ten episodes from the first two mini-series, and the first 12 regular season episodes), Shout! Factory is preparing to get
G.I. Joe - A Real American Hero: Season 1.2 into stores on
November 3rd. This second of four total "season set" releases will be followed later on by
Season 1.3 (the remainder of the first season's 55-episode run) and then
The Complete 2nd Season (30 episodes).
G.I. Joe - A Real American Hero: Season 1.2 will come on 4 discs, with 21 episodes on the first three DVDs and the final disc containing bonus material: "Everyday Heroes: The History of
G.I. Joe" Featurette, more "Knowing is Half the Battle" PSAs, and Archival Hasbro Toy Commercials. Cost is $29.99 SRP for 480 minutes, but you can already
pre-order it from Amazon at a discount.
